JordProxa recently reinforced its commitment to the global energy transition by attending two major battery industry conferences across Europe and Asia.

On 18–19 March 2025, the JordProxa team—Paul Browne (Managing Director), Nipen Shah (Sales Director), Wim Van Der Merwe (CTO Proxa Group), and Thomas Schaffrath (Technology Specialist)—participated in Benchmark Mineral Intelligence’s Giga Europe 2025 conference in Brussels. This high-profile event convened key decision-makers from across the lithium-ion battery value chain, including policymakers, financial institutions, automotive OEMs, battery manufacturers, and technology providers.

JordProxa’s team contributed to vital discussions shaping the future of Europe’s battery economy, with a focus on everything from raw material sourcing to end-use in electric vehicles. Their presence reflected the company’s growing role in supporting the sustainable development of Europe’s energy infrastructure.

Just weeks later, on 7–9 April 2025, Sales Manager Chris Madin represented JordProxa at Fastmarkets’ Asian Battery Materials Conference in Seoul, South Korea. Widely considered Asia’s premier industry gathering, the event hosted over 40 sessions and 50+ international speakers, focusing on the evolving battery supply chain and the resilience of Asian producers in today’s macroeconomic environment.

Chris engaged with a wide spectrum of stakeholders—from suppliers and manufacturers to policymakers and tech innovators—gaining key insights into Asia’s surging battery demand, particularly in China, India, and Japan, driven by EV growth and renewable energy storage needs.

By participating in these influential conferences, JordProxa continues to strengthen its global partnerships, stay ahead of industry trends, and support the rapid evolution of battery technologies central to the clean energy future.
